Dr. Kattesh Katti
Father of Green Nano Technology
University of Missouri, USA
Professor Kattesh V. Katti, Distinguished Curators’ Professor of Cancer Research and Radiology at the Medical Hospital, University of Missouri,Columbia, USA. Three decades of acquaintance of Professor Katti has provided the time-tested proof that this medical researcher has dedicated his entire life of illustrious professional career for saving human lives in India and the world through his ingenious original medical research. This unsung hero’s lifelong commitment to discovering new therapies for cancer and developing new products for saving lives against deadly COVID-19 infections are currently helping needy people and the world in a myriad of ways
Dr. Katti’s journey in medical research is filled with proven examples of serving humanity as the ultimate objective. In 2015, when Dr. Katti had just won the International Hevesy Award—considered equivalent to a Nobel prize in Nuclear Medicine, he delivered an invited lecture at his alma mater, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He was one of the invitees to attend his Augustus lecture. In his lecture, he described that in order to make Ayurvedic medicine more effective for treating cancer, infections and various life-threatening diseases, we must use radiochemical techniques to understand the distribution of Ayurvedic drugs in the body. That is exactly what he has done when he invented Green Nano technology to produce Ayurvedic equivalents of Swarna Bhasma for cancer and Rajata Bhasma for treating infections including the current COVID-19 infections.
Major Contributions to Society
- Dr Kattesh Katti started his medical research with the sole objective of contributing to humanity to save lives of patients in India and across the world. Over the last 30 years, he dedicated many scientific work to discover technologies that would transform Ayurvedic medicine into a reliable medical modality for treating cancer and infectious diseases.
- Toward this objective, in 1994, he had discovered trimeric amino acids, which are now recognized as ‘Katti Peptides’ by the US National Academy of Inventors. ‘Katti Peptides’ is used to discover Nano-Ayurvedic Medicines through Green Nanotechnology inventions.
- His biggest achievement came through recent human clinical trials which have shown that Nano-Ayurvedic Medicines treat metastatic breast cancer, prostate cancer and various other human cancers successfully.
- His antiviral Nano-Ayurvedic Medicine products are currently used in neutralizing COVID-19 in India, South Africa, the US and across the world.
- Global Impact: In 2020, the United Nations recognized Dr. Katti as the Global Subject Expert in Green Nanotechnology thus establishing a huge global impact of his work in saving lives globally.
- His green nanotechnology inventions have evolved into a new medical modality referred to as ‘Nano-Ayurvedic Medicine’—approved by the United States Patents and Trademarks office. He cherish his contributions to India and the world through his invention of ‘Nano- Ayurvedic Medicine’ modality—which has roots from Ayurvedic Medicine—because it is the most affordable medical modality serving millions of humanitary for their health and hygienic needs.

Recent Research
- The huge suffering and the global death toll of the current COVID-19 pandemic prompted us to test the efficacy of our Nano Rajata Bhasma for its virus neutralizing capabilities. We now have scientifically credible data demonstrating the outstanding efficacy of our Nano Rajata Bhasma in neutralizing COVID-19 virus. Several Ayurveda practicing physicians, in India, have already administered Nano Rajata Bhasma to severely ill COVID-19 inflicted patients.
- Their patient outcomes have shown stellar success with 100% curability with no side effects. Glyco protein conjugated silver nanoparticles (Nano Rajata Bhasma), upon interactions, with COVID-19 viral surface, binds and blocks the S proteins from fusing into normal cells—thus stopping infection.
- This interaction of glyco proteins (from Nano Rajata Bhasma) and S proteins (from COVID-19) provides a channel for the silver nanoparticles to destroy the RNA of COVID-19. One can ask why don’t we directly deliver glyco proteins to humans to block the COVID-19 viruses from fusing into normal healthy cells?
- It would take kilograms of Glyco proteins to be effective for direct administrations and at such high doses, glyco proteins would cause chemo toxicity to the human body. However, if encapsulated on silver nanoparticles, the nanoparticulate surface holds enormous payload of Glyco proteins yet keeping the size and electronic charge ideal for penetration across the viral membrane.
- This new generation of silver nanoparticles-based Nano Rajata Bhasma is highly effective in blocking the S proteins as well as in the complete destruction of the RNA and the entire infective machinery of the COVID-19 virus. This is the real power of Ayurvedic medicine if properly developed through rigorous scientific principles.
